1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Website or participating in any Chatra Rifle Club activities (including but not limited to firearm training, air rifle courses, range sessions, coaching, or events), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms, our Privacy Policy, Range Safety Rules, and any additional guidelines provided during booking or on-site.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Website or participate in our programs.

2. Eligibility & User Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years of age (or have parental/guardian consent if under 18 and allowed by program rules) to use the Website or register for training. Certain firearm-related training programs may require participants to be 21+ as per Indian Arms Act regulations.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration or booking
• Comply with all Indian firearm laws, Arms Act 1959, Arms Rules 2016, and NDAL-ALIS guidelines
• Follow all range safety rules, instructor commands, and range officer directions at all times
• Use only club-provided or approved firearms and ammunition during sessions unless otherwise permitted
• Report any injury, unsafe condition, or violation immediately

Violation of safety rules may result in immediate removal from the range without refund and potential reporting to authorities.

3. Use of the Website

You may use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Website
• Transmitting viruses, malware, or harmful code
• Harassing, threatening, or impersonating others
• Scraping, copying, or reproducing content without permission
• Using the Website for commercial purposes without our written consent

4. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website and in our materials (text, photos, videos, logos, course outlines, training guides, etc.) is owned by Chatra Rifle Club or its licensors and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws in India.

You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or commercially exploit any content without our prior written permission.

5. Booking, Payments & Cancellations

All training bookings, memberships, and range sessions are subject to availability. Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule sessions due to weather, maintenance, safety concerns, or insufficient participants.

No-shows or late cancellations (less than 24 hours) may result in forfeiture of fees.

6. Safety, Risk & Limitation of Liability

Shooting sports and firearm training carry inherent risks including serious injury, property damage, or death. Participation is voluntary and at your own risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chatra Rifle Club, its instructors, staff, and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from:

• Use of the Website or services
• Participation in training or range activities
• Any violation of safety rules
• Technical issues, interruptions, or errors on the Website

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Chatra Rifle Club from any claims, losses, or damages arising from your breach of these Terms or negligent acts.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Website or services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Ranchi, Jharkhand.
