About Us
Chatra Rifle Shooting Club (C.R.S.C) stands as a beacon of excellence and opportunity in the world of Indian shooting sports. Founded in the heart of Chatra, Jharkhand, our club was born from a vision to empower youth and enthusiasts from all walks of life—urban and rural alike—to discover their potential through the discipline and art of rifle shooting.
Our mission is simple yet profound: to nurture champions, inspire discipline, and foster a lifelong passion for shooting sports. We believe that every individual, regardless of background, deserves access to world-class coaching, modern facilities, and a supportive community. Through our programs, we aim to instill not only technical skills but also values of focus, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
Over the years, C.R.S.C has grown into a vibrant hub for aspiring athletes, hobbyists, and professionals. Our club is proudly affiliated with the Jharkhand State Rifle Association (J.S.R.A) and recognized by national and international authorities. We have trained over 1200 players, produced national champions, and contributed to the growth of shooting sports across 14 districts and 22 partner schools.
At the heart of our success is a commitment to holistic development. Our members benefit from expert coaching, state-of-the-art equipment, and a range of programs that include physical fitness, yoga, mental health support, and nutrition guidance. Whether you dream of competing at the Olympics, securing a government job through sports quota, or simply experiencing the thrill of shooting, C.R.S.C is your gateway to excellence.
We are more than just a club—we are a family. Our community thrives on mutual respect, encouragement, and the shared pursuit of greatness. We celebrate every achievement, big or small, and take pride in the journeys of our members as they grow into confident, disciplined, and accomplished individuals.
